What’s On, the UAE’s best-selling magazine, is seeking a dynamic Deputy Editor to join the team in our Abu Dhabi-based office. Driven, bursting with ideas and with a nose for a great story, you’ll be passionate about the arts, adventure, food, music, travel and living life to the full. Bashing copy into shape is second nature to you, as is organising your workload and working as part of a team.

The Features Editor will be an experienced journalist with a sense of adventure, ready to tell the Emirates how to dine out on a budget, jump from a plane or race camels in the desert.

Joining a small but dedicated and enthusiastic team, life in the UAE is never dull, and it’s your job to show the emirates how to enjoy it.

Applicants must be educated to degree level and have a minimum three years experience in a similar role.

Emirates Woman epitomises the finest in fashion, beauty and lifestyle. It aims to educate, entertain and inspire.

Emirates Woman, the Gulf’s leading fashion lifestyle magazine, is looking for a bright new star to join its respected fashion and beauty team. Applicants must know their Manolos from their Mui Muis, have a strong grasp of the regional fashion scene and possess a broad knowledge and understanding of both contemporary and archival fashion. You will have a natural talent for styling and a knack for fashion and beauty writing along with a strong knowledge of local and international fashion news sources. The responsibilities include styling and writing for all fashion and beauty product pages, assisting the Style Director on shoots and compiling image databases. The ideal candidate will hold a UAE driving licence, be organized and able to work to strict deadlines and have the confidence to interview fashion personalities and represent the magazine at high level launches and events.
