MP0049: Sales Manager – Digital

Motivate is looking for experienced, ambitious sales people, with a passion for social and online media. The person will play a leadership role in developing and growing digital business revenue, market share and profitability goals while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Prerequisites:

  • A proven track record in Digital Sales with at least 3+ year experience, ideally from a publisher perspective.
  • A demonstrable understanding of the broader picture of modern media products, including print, digital and live events, and the opportunities each represents both to advertisers and to the audience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels.
  • Proven ability to excel in a faced paced, changing environment; work independently & collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be both entrepreneurial and proactive in nature.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Is responsible for managing the sales activity across our digital portfolio to meet revenue targets by week and by period.
  • Generates revenue from creation and sale of compelling advertising and sponsorship deals.
  • Constantly seeks out new revenue generating opportunities to ensure that targets are met.
  • Develops Digital Media sales materials to market appropriate services and opportunities to buyers of advertising at local, regional and national accounts and advertising agencies in support of Digital Media sales efforts.
  • Develops strong relationships with internal and external customers.
